Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour

There is bound to be a spectacular tribute towards the late Michael Jackson in NYC. There is no better way than with a stage show from the visual masters of Cirque de Soleil. Michael's movements are set in the dramatics of circus, dance arts and presented upside down and round-a-bout in the stadium.
New York International Automobile Show

Easter Parade

The Dawn of Egyptian Art

The best of Egyptian assemblage sits in the Metropolitan Museum´s permanent collection. A collaboration of the Met with twelve other museums of the U.S. and Europe has set up a temporary exhibit of the Dawn of Egyptian Art.  The compilation of artifacts illustrates the origins and early development of ancient Egyptian art and includes Early Dynastic Period of paintings.
National Tartan Day Parade

Each year this parade organized by the National Tartan Day New York Committee is getting larger and will soon rival the St. Patrick´s Event. Pipe bands, Scottish groups and societies are all welcome to join in the largest Scottish outdoor event in Manhattan.

Tribeca Film Festival

The Big Swim

The 17th Annual Big Swim Meet & Benefit offers a racing competition for swimmers aged from 6 to 16. Regardless of abilities, all participants will receive a T-shirt and medal. The Big Swim also will be hosting an Olympic swimming exhibition with some of the best swimmers on the U.S. and Canadian Olympic teams on-hand to meet and greet.
Dood Paard

28-30 Apr/ Peter B. Lewis Theater
Courtesy of the Guggenheim Museum, the highly acclaimed Dutch troupe of Dood Paard is making their US premiere. The avant-garde piece performed will be “REIGEN ad lib,” void of sets or direction. After the show on April 29th, a conversation with cast members of Dood Paard and other theatrical experts will make for an extra special experience.
