Situated in the borough of Queens on Long Island, 12 miles southeast of Lower Manhattan, JFK International Airport is New York’s busiest aviation hub, catering to nearly 60 million passengers annually. Travelling to the airport from Manhattan takes around an hour in normal traffic, and you can drive between the two via either the Midtown Tunnel, Triborough Bridge or Williamsburg, Manhattan, or Brooklyn Bridges. The airport’s six terminals are quite spread out, so it’s advised to to leave yourself extra time to reach the right terminal for your flight.
